Unless you’ve been living in a cave, you probably have some inkling about what Net Neutrality is. And if you haven’t, you’re in luck! We’ve done drawn a comic about it to help you get yer education on!

Hope you’ve been paying attention and take this issue very seriously, because if Comcast, Time Warner and the other big internet providers have their way, Net Neutrality is out the window and the internet as we know it is OVER. No more carefree days exploring the hidden recesses of the interwebs, your content can be carefully curated with only the big name sites delivering you content at any significant speed. Free porn? A thing of the past my friend… unless you’re willing to wait 5 minutes for crappy, slow to download jpg. That’s right, you’re internet speeds could be nuked back to 1995 for all the sites you care about. And forget about being able to see new Mission Mini-Comix in a timely fashion. There is literally no way in hell we’re going to pay out any more than we already do to host this schlock, and, NEWSFLASH, we’re not paying anything now (other than the blood sweat and other bodily fluids I spill wrangling this unruly site). I guess we’ll always have the (vastly superior) paper books to fall back on, but c’mon peoples! It doesn’t have to be this way.

So if you’re moved at all to move your big fat fingers and click on a couple things, the FCC still has a public comment period on the fate of Net Neutrality until the 15th of September. Please visit the EFF (Electronic Frontier Foundation), as they’ve made it really easy to write a letter to the FCC and you won’t have to deal with the FCC’s outdated and sluggish website.

Get writing, peoples!

oh yeah, this comic was written by Audrey Soffa, who also drew the 1st, 2nd, 6th and 8th panels, I drew the 3rd panel, Mikey drew the 4th and 5th panels and Antonio drew 7th panel
